Neil Rix

Founder & Managing Director

With more than 40 years’ experience in the construction industry, Neil has built his career from the ground up. He started his career as a scaffolder at just 15 years old, gaining years of experience within the industry before going on to work for himself and establishing N.T. Rix Scaffolding in 1987. From then, Neil has continued to grow the business from a small scaffolding company into the established family-run business it is today.

Ben Rix

Operational Director

Ben joined the family business in 2007, starting out as a labourer before progressing to become an Advanced Scaffolder, a role he carried out for over 10 years. Now approaching 20 years with the business, he has built extensive experience across all aspects of scaffolding and operations.

Ben holds qualifications as an Advanced Scaffolder, Advanced Scaffold Inspection, Supervisor (Gold), SSSTS and an NVQ Level 6 in Operations Management (Black).

During his career, he has worked on a wide range of projects, including specialist offshore and marine projects, commercial and residential developments and public sector works. Ben now works primarily from the office, overseeing the day-to-day running of the business.

Sarah Fuller

Office Manager

Sarah is Neil’s niece and recently celebrated 22 years with N.T.Rix Scaffolding. She is an integral part of the team beginning as an administration assistant and progressing to Office Manager.

Over the years she has been responsible for any and all administrative duties including invoicing our main contracts, managing payroll, correspondence, insurance, accounts and office management – there’s nothing Sarah doesn’t do!

Stu Buddle

Transport Manager

Stuart has been part of the N.T. Rix Scaffolding team for over 10 years and is responsible for the management of the company’s fleet.

His role covers the planning and scheduling of servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs, ensuring vehicles remain compliant. Stuart also oversees the day-to-day running of the fleet, helping to ensure our drivers, vehicles and equipment are managed efficiently.

Lee Bond

Yard Foreman

Known to everyone as Bondy, Lee has been part of the N.T. Rix Scaffolding team for over 20 years and plays an important role in the running of the yard. As Yard Foreman, he oversees the loading and unloading of vehicles, the organisation and maintenance of equipment, and the general upkeep of the yard.

Lee also plays an important role in the development of our apprentices. He oversees first-year apprentices during their initial time in the yard, helping them develop their practical knowledge and understanding of scaffolding before progressing onto site to continue their training and education.
